“Colleagues asked, ‘eh so, today your last day what you wanna have for lunch, we buy you la’
I said ‘ we’ve been having Japs, Korean, Italian and Mediterranean for the past 4 days already why don’t we go for something damn canggih! MAMAK! I am in dire craving of a nice glass of Teh Ais’
Their response; ‘Wtf?! Boring la you! Something more canggih la!’
My reason; ‘Wtf?! Can’t I enjoy mamak now more than anything? Leave me alone! To me, mamak is duper canggih k? I grew up with that and mamak made me big and strong!’
Their feedback, ‘You’re f**king lame but okay, whatever you say la. You’re paying for yourself then since it’s so cheap and there’s no point us chipping in.
Me; TuNA SENG! As to non vulgarity in my blog, I shall not pen down the real word.”
It amazes me as to know that there are so many people who knows it is my last day at work today. Already I have been very discreet (except for my own team), and intended to leave quietly. Mana tau all these creative, studio and production people started coming up and I am receiving best wishes mails every half an hour. I am overwhelmed though, knowing I have made quite an impression on them although my time was short here. Anyways, farewell farewell!
It’s long break for me now, 10 days to be exact. I will be heading back to Penang on Wednesday after everyone resumes work; this is so to avoid traffic congestion. I’ll always remember last year’s Raya that I was stuck in the traffic from Penang back to KL for 8 hours and this is after me using the emergency lane the whole journey where else my colleague then from Patimas was stuck in it for 14 hours. CRAZY!
So since I have experienced such exciting experience, I shall not repeat history as much as I am just dreading to go back home and see my woman! My grandmother!
Anyways, off to self adornment; gym and hair cut! It’s a holiday; somehow I’ve to look better than this for it. Roar!
Happy holidays everyone and to me Malayan friends, Selamat Berbuka Puasa dan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!
Cheers!
